Paros Park presents Trio Fagottissimo in a special chamber music concert featuring classical and neoclassical repertoire. The distinguished musicians from the Athens State Orchestra—Ionna Gaitani (violin), Kelli Angela Kokolani (viola), and Alexandros Oikonomou (bassoon)—will perform works for string trio with the unique innovation of replacing the cello with the bassoon. The concert will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 21:00, at the Theater of Ai-Yannis Detis Park.
Joanna Gaitani – Violin
Born in Athens in 1986, Ionna began her musical education at a very young age and studied at leading European institutions such as the Cologne University of Music under Prof. Zakhar Bron. She has received significant awards and performs as a soloist with leading orchestras in Greece and abroad. Since 2023, she is a member of the Athens State Orchestra and teaches at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory.
Kelli Angela Kokolani – Viola
Born in Argirokastro, Kelli Angela trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana and the University of Graz. She currently holds the position of Second Principal Viola with the Athens State Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist in important concerts and actively participates in chamber music festivals. She also teaches violin and viola in Athens.
Alexandros Oikonomou – Bassoon
A native of Athens, Alexandros began his studies at a very young age and completed his education at the Munich University of Music. He has appeared as a soloist on major stages and collaborated with important orchestras internationally, specializing in Baroque music and the original bassoon. Since 1995, he has been the principal bassoonist of the Athens State Orchestra.
