July 2 – «A World Not Ours»

As part of the “Films on Palestine” series, Mahdi Fleifel’s award-winning documentary will be screened—a deeply human cinematic portrait of three generations of Palestinian refugees in the Ein el-Helweh camp in Lebanon. A moving film about exile, memory, family, and the sense of belonging, it has been honored with more than thirty international awards.

July 4 – “The Enigma of Keros”

ERT’s award-winning documentary, directed by Kostas Machairas, sheds light on the mystery of Keros and the excavations that changed everything we knew about the Cycladic civilization. The screening will take place in the presence of the filmmakers, giving the audience the opportunity to talk with them about one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of recent decades.

July 7 – “Apostratos”

The tribute to director Zacharias Mavroidis continues with the social drama-comedy “Apostatos,” a film about identity, memory, and the need for a fresh start. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director, offering the audience a unique opportunity to learn more about his work.

July 10 – “ARCO”

The first ten days of July come to a close with Ugo Bienvenu’s new, multi-award-winning animated film. A moving journey of imagination that follows a boy from the year 2075 and his ten-year-old friend on an adventure filled with imagination, environmentalism, and hope. The film has already garnered acclaim at major international animation festivals and is considered one of the top films of the year.
