The main beach, or Monastiri Beach as it is called is a well protected and remote beach found within the rocky cove of Ai Yiannis Detis, wide, with soft sand and shallow water,for at least 100m, making it the perfect choice for safe swimming, water sports and beach games. The beach is an organized beach and provides sunbeds and umbrellas for optional hire.

At the other two beaches which dot the peninsula, Perikopetra and Tourkou Ammos, you will experience a sense of freedom and pristine pleasure. Both beaches are in close proximity to the main beach of Monastiri and can be reached only on foot.
