The Environmental and Cultural Park of Paros is a Municipal S.A. founded in 2009 and operates for the protection and enhancement of the peninsula of Aï Yannis Detis. Primary ambition and purpose of the Park is to be a showcase of social service, which offers another perspective on the cultural and sustainable tourism on the Aegean Islands and Greece.
The Environmental and Cultural Park of Paros has been transformed into a model centre of ecology, as well as a place for sports, quality recreation, culture, history and education, in the heart of the Cyclades, offering its visitors the possibility of a variety of activities in a natural landscape of particular beauty.
At the same time, the Park is a practical implementation of a different model of tourism development, which links it to the environmental and cultural heritage of the place, within the context of sustainable development of the island.
An important attraction for nature lovers, as an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Park will give those who discover it the opportunity to enjoy quality cultural events in a beautiful, dignified, clean and functional space, in strict and consistent compliance with the health protocols set by the State for the protection of public health.

The total area of the Park is 800 hectares, owned by the Municipality of Paros, and includes a café restaurant , cinema, semi-outdoor exhibition area, amphitheatre with 700 seats, organized and free beaches, a network of 7 km long hiking trails and a parking lot for 300 cars.
The Park operates as a modern alternative recreational and educational space within the framework of sustainable ecosystem management, with soft interventions, ecologically friendly technical structures and sports, environmental and cultural activities for people of all ages and abilities.
The Park's services include the annual summer Festival at the Park, the café restaurant Monastiri, an organised beach, rental of its facilities for private events.
