The Park, since 2009, has been organizing the “Festival at the Park”, a summer cultural, sports, and environmental festivities at the Park’s premises. The Festival starts in June and ends in October. During this time, it hosts at least twenty high quality events, at the open air theatre Archilochos, the outdoor movie theatre and all over its land.
The Festival’s main venue is the open air theatre Archilochos with a capacity of 700 seats, magnificent acoustics, and the aura of an ancient Greek theatre. It offers a magical view to the Naousa bay and moonlight, mesmerizing any visitor. The theatre was recently named after the great ancient Paros Island poet Archilochos whose poetry is depicted throughout the theatre’s wall by artistic works.
